Elda River Investment
In July 2024, Elda River partnered with Spearmint to invest in a $200mm secured term loan. The proceeds were used to fund development and construction of additional storage projects. The investment was directly originated by the Elda River team.
Elda River Approach
Elda River was compelled by Spearmint’s robust pipeline of assets within the high-growth utility-scale storage segment in North America. Spearmint also has a high-quality management team, led by storage industry veterans.
Company Benefit
Spearmint was able to utilize our investment to support the continued development and operation of its BESS portfolio as well as the expansion of its US project pipeline. Spearmint will additionally continue to benefit from its ongoing strategic relationship with Elda River.
